Leschaco opens Middle East regional office in Dubai - Arabian Supply Chain

 

Leschaco, a privately owned group of companies offering worldwide logistics solutions in sea and air freight, contract logistics, and tank containers, has announced the opening of its Middle East regional office in Dubai, located at the Dubai Airport Free Zone.

According to Owner Joerg Conrad, the new office will dramatically broaden its presence in the region, as well as help establish the firm as a global player.

“This is a major step in building our global footprint by growing our presences in the Middle East, in particular, Dubai,” said Conrad.

On top of opening of the office, Leschaco has also announced the Dubai regional office will be headed by Shamsudeen Ahmed as managing director.

Ahmed has fulfilled similar senior positions for Schenker, Panalpina and Exel/DHL. His most recent assignment was president - Middle East for CEVA Logistics.

Ahmed, will assume overall responsibility for the growth and operations of Leschaco services including contract logistics in the Middle East. He will also be in charge of implementing the strategies and expanding the
network of Leschaco in the region.
